Soft top rear latch chrome

When I removed the small piece of chrome (with the hole in it on the soft top lid) for the rear soft top latch, there was no rubber pad under it, but there was a gooey black substance stuck to it and the soft top lid. Maybe a dissolving rubber pad? Looking at the parts suppliers, I can't find this rubber, or even if there should be one.

Hi Andy,

There is a small rubber that fits on the locating pin on the hard top. It is item 40 on page 79.
