Power Steering Pump Rebuild
« on: September 11, 2008, 15:47:19 »
How many hours is required to have the power steering pump rebuilt by a knowledgeable mechanic?  I'd be interested in hearing what this work would cost, labor and parts.  Thanks!

I asuume you are talking about the rotary pump that runs off the engine. If your pump is just leaking, a seal kit is available to fix it. These pumps aren't that complicated internally and are fairly easy to rebuid by the do-it-yourselfer if you are at all adventuresome.
