The engine would not bolt in directly, SLs have different mounting arms the 70 and later sedans used a different auto transmission. stick shift cars had a diffrent gear box too.
Some of the SL compatable parts;
front sub frame, rear axle, transistor ignition box, coil and balast resistors, timing switching relays, under hood component electrical harnesses may not be exactly the same but could be used with some modifications, When parting out sedans, I always cut off as many of the main harness plugs as I could, They always come in handy for making repairs on old wiring, Relays, alternator, starter, brake calipers, steering wheel, interior door pull handles are the same as USA pagodas with the soft door pockets. The Kangal magnetic buckle seat belts with some modification can be used in a pagoda, Power steering gearbox, engine oil cooler, I am sure there are more, that I can't think of off the top of my head.
