THE CHROME SURFACE ON MY POSTS IS IN POOR CONDITION ARE THESE
AVAILABLE? WHAT IS INVOLVED TO REMOVE THEM FOR REPLATING?

You could search our forum for "rechroming", several people have talked about it and I'm sure you could get it done.  There may be re-chromers on our Parts and Service Suppliers database.

If you are referring to the windshield post chrome covers, it's not a simple project.  Remove all the chrome trim above the windshield, then pull the windshield to expose the mounting screws.  It's also advisable to remove the wood trim prior to pulling the windshield to prevent damage.  That is also quite a project that is well documented in the club archives, but involves glovebox, radio and instrument removable for access to the mounting studs.
