RHD drivers side poor carpet fit around pedal

I purchased a carpet set from Germany.The fit is perfect apart from where the throttle pedal is as photo shows.The Company say the pedal is in the wrong place and should be 3 to 4 cm away from the side.
 
Any advice gratefully received.

I believe they are correct see my post on the gas pedal bracket...It ends up about 2-3 inches from the center tunnel.  THIS IS ON A LEFT HAND DRIVE.

Update.
Thanks to the members who have replied.I passed on the info and photos to the company concerned and have had no reply as yet.I shall be naming names soon and also asking the UK MB club to remove them from the recomended list if I can't get a reply by the end of the week.
