Hi,
I posted this question a week or so ago and nobody picked it up so I thought I would give it another run - I need confirmation that I am on the right track....
I am currently rebuilding the front suspension - its out of the car. I`ve had the subframe and the four swing/control arms powdercoated and am now putting it back together. My question relates to how tight or what torque should the threaded bushes that screw on to the swing/control arm bearings be. I cant find anything in the BBB. I am assuming that they screw in until they are tight ( snug, firm, tight or gorilla??) against the swing arm which holds them, allowing the arm (and the bush) to rotate on the bearing. I have the arms fitted and they are firm. I can comfortably move each arm up and down by hand but they are not "floppy". Is this correct? (this is before the springs and king pins are fitted of course)
Cheers
