mechanic in the Cleveland area?
« on: November 29, 2008, 16:02:29 »
I'm relocating for my employer to the Cleveland area and shipping my car up next week.   Can anyone recommend mechanics in the area?

I'm not in Cleveland but I'm about the same distance from you as I would be from Toronto. I just delivered two 113'S there today and picked up a 190SL on the way back. Contact me if you like.

Thanks Dan.   Nothing needs be done at this time. Car's running well.    Probably next would be taking care of the leaking differential.   I'll let you know once I get to ready for my next to do item.

I am in Hudson Ohio (just outside of Cleveland), and Ted Gottfried is my 113 caretaker. Contact me off line for details.

Larchmere Imports is pretty good. John Negus is the Owner.  Ask for Dan to work on your car as he is pretty sharp.

If you need parts for your car call Mecedes of North Olmstead and ask for John.  He has been around forever and hopefully will be around for a long time to come.  When I ordered new fenders for my car he didn't need no stinkin computer to look up the numbers he knew the numbers off the top of his head.

I am usually up for fixing anything odd or unusual when I am home in Cleveland Heights(I work every other month) so if you have any unusual tuning issues etc look me up. Unfortunately I don't have time for the easy stuff but  I do work cheap(beer).
