sources for carpet replacement for 230SL

My father has become the proud owner a 1966 230SL. He would to replace the carpeting with the correct horse hair material. I bought a kit a few years ago for my 230 from World UPHOLSTERY and found certain details regarding fit to be ok not great. I'd like to look at some other vendors in this decision and am curious on fellow forum members experiences.

I dont think that the originals are horse hair   I ordered some from Riggys Upholstery  tel 717 241 0237   very reasonable but havent got them yet

I use GAHH in CA for all my leather and carpet kit needs...for the last 15 years.  Very original and nice...you get what you pay for!

The correct carpet for the 230SL was a wool square weave - it was the seat pads which contained horsehair I think. GAHH are reportedly pretty good quality. I'm  ordering a grey square weave carpet set and black leather interior from them this week. While not technically correct for my year (1969), I prefer the look of the wool square weave over the multi-loop blend which was originally installed in my vehicle.
