I have not finished the work on my 1971 280SL yet, but the other day took it out of the garage for a photo session.
When I bought it, it was blue with white interior. It is now back to the original 180 Silver metallic with red MB Tex interior.
The things that stops me from getting it registerd and taking it for a drive are
- fuse no.1 keeps blowing
- idle is too high, and the idle adjust on the FIP is turned as far ccw as it will go, (without spinning with the rotor)
- The interior has to be finished, - after i locate the reason for the fuse blowing
