I have a question for the camshaft experts (Joe):
On 18-7/2 of the BBB it states "Caution! Camshaft, camshaft bearing and oil pipe of the modified versions must not be installed in engines which have a return bore in the cylinder block and crankcase measuring only 10 mm."
According to 18-7, enlargement of the oil return bore to 12 mm did not occur until November 1970.
Therefore, in regard to the camshaft modification ("c" on 18-7/1) that were being done as of November 1970, camshafts with this modification should not be used in engines manufactured prior to November 1970.
My question is whether this camshaft modification is present on the 2nd version US (114 051 05 01) and/or non-US (114 051 02 01) camshafts?
(I am assuming that the 1st versions do not have this modification, but this may not be true)
