has anybody in this forum made experiences with the 123ignition in an early 230SL, 1964, with distributor 0231 116 046 ?
There is a lot of people with 280SL, who replaced the distributor 0231 116 051 , they use curve nr. 8 and their experiences are pretty good.
For the distributor 046 you should use curve Nr. 6.
But it says, that max ignition is 30 degrees already at 2300 u/min !!!! Is not it too much/too early ? Because you should have 30 degrees only at 3000 u/min.
Klaus from the german pagodentreff forum adviced me to take curve nr. 5 (for 220SEb)
