I suppose at the end of the day it's each to his own and what you are used to. All I would say is that the bonnet will come off in seconds just chock it with a piece of wood, put a ladder bucket S hook on the stay, place some cloth around the front edge and on the oil cooler, remove the two 10mm bracket bolts by the air filter, pull it towards you and slightly away from the battery side to slide of that bracket and lift it straight off making sure you have a safe place to put it. It's so light you can do it on your own and, whilst I have also replaced it on my own it is safer with assistance and is straight forward to reposition without the need to make any markings on the bracket. Once removed you will not believe how easy the engine bay is to work on, access is a complete dream.

If you want to remove your rad from below try cutting up an old box to the height of the rad and pulling it out whilst on your ramps.
