Definitely worth a look at an amazing array of cars, projects and the keeping of Mercedes History

That would be the replica the Classic Centre did up a few years back of the 1963 Bohringer 230SL Marathon de la Route (Liège - Sophia - Liège) rallye car.

Hey guys, I had the good fortune to visit the Classic Center back in October.  We lived and worked in Germany for three years, so we go back a lot.  We had holiday in Germany during the wine harvesting, and got a chance to visit the Classic Center as well as the "new" MB museum.  The classic center is a place that you become a kid in the candy store.  Some great looking cars. I had just read that the Blitzen Benz was restored there last year (story in The Star), interesting how they had to contract a company to forge new pistons for this car.  When in the MB museum, saw their Blitzen Benz on display.  By the way, all the cars on the showroom of the Classic Center are for sale.  Couple of 300SLs going for 500,000 Euros (do the math, $3.5 to 1 Euro).  I have sent to The Star to run my story of our trip to Germany, no word yet as to when and if they will print it.

Bob, slight mistake there... if it were true I'd move to the US immediately and be a millionaire. Regrettably today there's only $1.43 to €1 but if anyone is prepared to match Bob's offer, I'll take it!
