Anyone own a 300SE Fintail Sedan?
« on: December 15, 2009, 22:09:14 »
I am just curious if any of you own this fairly rare car...I have a soft spot for them.   I have heard very few were imported to the USA.

Hello JP,

All those old Finbacks are fun old cars to own.  Find a very good 300SE if you are looking. The M189 engines are expnesive to repair and the complicated air suspensions can also be costly to bring back.

John Olson ownes a very nice one, he loves it.

many years back there was a employee at my father's shop that owned a 112 300sec I remember that it had brake pads and calipers that were unique to the 112 series cars. the front brake pads cost around $100 USD back in 1978.
