Option Code question
« on: May 08, 2010, 18:41:00 »
Do we know what option code 625 was for. The car was from Australia?

As a dealer code, 625 is the Canary Islands. So a bit like Australia...

In the handbook of codes published by MB in 3/93,  Code 625 says "Version for Australia"

Well...,

I' m not absolutely convinced with that answer. 625.
Please where did you find that number, in the field "Auftragsnummer" or "wenig gewünscht" or was it just in the field below 62 (i.e. 62/5)?
I have a little problem with option lists from 1993 ... Are those still suitable for our cars from 1963-1971? Maybe for the real dealer codes in the "Auftragsnummer" box but clearly extremely vague for the other option codes.

IMHO...
