Does anybody know where I can get 87.5 rings for my 280SL 1970? The pistons are the 3 ring type.
As I live in Ireland a European supplier would help, but I would be happy to get from USA.

http://www.deves.com/
Use a micrometer to measure the width of your old rings and match them up to the sets that they have available.
I got a set of Deves rings when I built my motor. It had a unusulal set of pistons because it was a factory replacement short block built with a set of pistons for a carbureted 230 motor .25 mm oversize to match the 230sl's bore. I was able to match them up by bore diameter and ring width.
