Graphite Gray?
« on: August 24, 2010, 06:42:41 »
Anyone have a shot of interior carpet done in graphite gray? My 230's painted in 717, with 332 roof. Its has a dark blue interior, and using the table in the tech manual it should be done with graphite gray carpet. I guess on the data card it doesn't say anything about carpet color? I've attached a picture of some carpet samples, I'm thinking the top one? Thanks

It sounds like you have the same colour combination I have.  My car is 717 paint colour with 332 top and 115 as a trim code.  My interior is also dark blue and I found out my carpet is suppose to be graphite grey.  I spoke to Dave Gallon about the colour and he believes the MB10 colour on the GAHH web site is probably correct.  Go to http://www.gahh.net/smp-v20-c13-a.php  Your top swatch looks to be the same as the MB10 sample.  Where did you get them?  Also where are you located?  If within driving distance I would be interested in seeing your car.

Well, as a member of the elite 717/332/115 club, I opted for the MB-4 carpet from Miller's (way back in 97!). It is a blue and grey square weave. I replaced what I believe was the original carpet -- and I think it had blue in it as well. Although not certain of that.

James,

I too have the grey/blue square weave in my car.  Looks good with the blue seats.  I have had the car less than a year and was interested if my carpet was the correct colour or something else.  It is still in good condition so it will be many years yey before I think about changing it. :)

I grabbed the carpet sample from here:

I'm in BC, bit of a drive :P. Thanks for clearing that up, the top one will be my pick when I go to buy. Thanks again
