Hello
« on: September 10, 2010, 07:24:50 »
This is my first post.  I'm kinda lame in that I've had my 1967 250 SL since 1995 and have not gotten involved in any community forum such as this.

My "work of art" (woa) was a childhood dream.  When I was knee high to a grasshopper I wanted this car.  230, 250, 280, didn't matter.  The styling is, in my humble opinion, and I'm sure you all will agree, a work of art.

I've posted a picture of my woa with the hardtop off and the soft top down, sparkling in the sun.

I will have lots of questions.  Forgive me if I ask something that has been asked before.  I know how to use search.  Search doen't always return the results one wants.

Thank you all in advance for your advice and stories of joy by owning/driving these beautiful works of art.

Big welcome from me - this forum has saved me a lot of time and money. Even if I don't fiddle around myself, it is always nice to shop up at your mechanic with a few qualified theories ;)
