Looking for 250SL auto mechanic -Alexandria VA
« on: September 25, 2010, 14:24:28 »
I've completed my restoration project (it's never really done)...  I'm would like to take it to an experienced mechanic in the Alexandria VA area to give it a once over and tune it up.  Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Matt

Hi--

Try the American Service Center.

They are a dealership, but they have very-well trained mechanics and have great experience.

Just as an aside, the American Service Center was one of the first MB dealers in the US after WWII. MB entered the US market through Studebaker, and the American Service Center was a Studebaker dealer at the time.

Regularly go thru DC.  617 947 6399.  Or try Chuck Taylor in Falls Chu(a)rch.

I use JCP Motorsports on Vine St. in Alexandria  703-719-0509

Carlos Periera is the owner.. I have had very good experience with him.
