What is the Best Manual for the 230sl

There are all kinds of manuals and books but which one is the best to get for info and details of info on ins and outs of a 67 230sl ...my car came with nothing and so where do I start?? thanks mary

The "big blue book" for passenger cars starting in 1959. See: http://www.sl113.org/wiki/Documents/BBB.
They show up on eBay quite often. I also like the book written by Kenneth Ball: Mercedes-Benz 230/ 1963-68 AUTOBOOK.

I like the Haynes manual myself. Not sure what the status these days is of the factory manuals (Big Blue Book etc), whether they're available either in print or on CD-rom / DVD but the Haynes manual, combined with all of the knowledge here before you tackle a particularjob, should provide you with 90-98% of the information you'll ever need.
