Pagoda World issue 12?
« on: November 27, 2010, 05:32:46 »
The last issue I received of Pagoda World was Issue 11 from September of 2009.   Was issue 12 produced this year and I somehow failed to get my copy?

I see there has been no reponse to this so I am throwing it back out again.  Next month I will have been a full member for a year and I have never received a copy of Pagoda World and was wondering if it is still in publication.
Thanks

Jordon:
Thanks for sharing my concern.  Surely, we can't be the only two who wait patiently each year for the Pagoda World magazine to arrive.

I thought maybe I was becoming invisible to our fellow forum members.

Hello all,

Sorry for missing this thread the first time around. Pagoda World magazine #12 is indeed late. The last issue (#11) was published around October 2009, just after PUB-2009. Much of the material is there, I've just been a bit swamped with my PhD work to get it finished. Hopefully we can push it out in the next couple months. There will still be another issue for 2011 (PW #13) and will probably be published in late 2011, soon after PUB.

Thanks for your patience!

ps. All the magazine issues published to date can be found here, and the back issue ordering information here.

Wagas:

Just to be clear, I do not want my inquiry to be interpreted as any dissatisfaction on your (or anyone else's) participation with this forum or it's publications.

But I was very close to accusing my local postal delivery man of absconding my copy for his own benefits.  ;D

Thank you for your response, and again thank you for your time devoted to producting such a wonderful magazine.

No offense taken whatsoever (at least by me).

James, don't worry.
We'll just call him " Daimler Doctor".

Hmmmm..everyone seems sensitive about the "doctor(s)" here. Is it perhaps because we are all of the age when we need regular colonoscopies and prostate exams? Just remember..when you are at home and looking at blood in the bowl who are you gonna call????  ;D ;D ;D
