Convertible top well rubber plugs
« on: January 01, 2011, 21:16:47 »
I am looking for the part number of the two rubber plugs in the convertible top storage well as well as who sells them.  The holes are 31mm and are plug with a rubber type plug.  The parts books do not seem to list this part.

Thanks for your help.

I have been searching for years for the same item.  I have only a good one & it would make a nice mold for someone to manufacture them.  I believe these for the early 113 models for access to the top of the shock absorbers.

To both Mark and Paul,
These plugs are being re-manufactured by MB and the new part number is A 000 99 74 020.  They are now made of vinyl not rubber.

I need to thank all of you , as I have also been looking for those plugs for quite some time.
Every time I come across a rubber plug of some sort I make it a point to check if it would fit.
