Injection pump rebuild
« on: January 28, 2011, 13:32:07 »
Nice set of pictures showing all the parts during an injection pump rebuild.  The large blue machine in the background is used for calibration.

You need to select the injection pump rebuild from the group.

The 113 engine rebuild is pretty cool too.

Hit the "full screen" button in the lower right corner for better viewing.

Tip of the iceberg.

I have not been to Black Forest, but would sure as heck love to have them in my backyard.  You probably laugh at us all the time John.

It is encouraging that someone takes the time to really learn a process, document it, and do it well...and take of cosmetics, too.

Kudos to those guys.

That is interesting how they plated the BC. Mine is painted with Eastwood's yellow cad paint (its just OK). I guess you could plate that as long as you don't get any plating solution inside. Maybe I'll try that.

Also of interest, SLS sells the thermostat housing if yours is corroded at the hose connection. It isn't cheap!

That pump belongs in a museum!
