They all rot out in the salt on New York State roads. No vehicle escapes without cancer if you drive here in the Winter. Cars have really been built better to withstand the salt recently though, I remember in the seventies cars just disintigrating. I have a 250SL parts car from Buffalo that is just a hood, doors and trunk lid after everything else rotted away. The E coat does look great, and everything helps. We are constantly fighting rust here, just replaced an oil pan on an 02' Nissan pickup. I couldn't believe how bad that truck has rusted, everything is pretty much rotted out underneath. But, probably because of the high tec paint the body has a couple more years. I will say that most rot occurs where the body was scratched or damaged. Your car looks great, I bet it will never rust with the care you are taking.
