Newbie Bought a Car for Restoration!

Hey Guys,

I finally found a car and I cannot wait to join with her  ;D

Since it is in New York now and I am half way across the world, I need to ship with it the replacements for the rusty panels underneath. Can someone please help me by identifying the panels that I need for the overhaul?

Oh wow...

Well ... congratulations...!


You need at least the whole set of floor panels that are available from K & K and perhaps others. See our vendor's section.

See also the homepage of SLS in Hamburg, Germany (www.sls-hh.de) for their W113 online parts catalogue where you can find which sheet metal parts and which replacement sections are available and how much they cost.

Floor pans, rockers and rear valance tell me (& others) that there is quite an amount of comprehensive welding necessary on your car.
Hope your 250 was cheap enough to make such an endeavour worthwile.

Achim, thank you for your reply.

The good thing about the whole deal is that labor is much much cheaper in my country that it is in the rest of the worlds.
Furthermore I will be paying double labor on this car to have it done at a professional shop who used to convert normal cars into bullet proof ones during the war.

I just need to know what wheel wells panels I need. I was checking K&K and got confused in the process...
