I have a mid 1967 250sl. the tension rod broke my ceramic ballast resister. they make 3 ohm types-------.4---.6---.9 ohm's--My broken one had a silver bracket , but I could have had the wrong one on my car.. My new one from Bud's just came in the mail today. Their mechanic thought it should be a .9ohm. gold bracket. I am just making sure. Can anyone verify the correct one for my vehicle?
Would it cause any harm using a different one?
