rear quarter molding gap size
« on: June 23, 2011, 01:02:47 »
I finally got my upper moldings on. I noticed that the rear quarter molding doesn't really have a curve to it, that contours with the quarter panel, thus, leaving a small millimeter gap between the molding and quarter panel, on the ends of the molding. 3 screws hold this molding on. I would be talking about the 2 end screws. The center screw is flush. There is no sense in screwing it down harder, because the molding is not really curved to conform to it. Has anyone else noted this?. I would love some input from other member's cars. If they could see how theirs fits.
