First time post-1970 280SL

Hello fellow members...I'm learning to navigate the site.  Was looking for an area to see other members cars in an easy fashion (hadn't found that yet)
Here's a few photos of my 1970 280SL.   I've had the car since 1987.   Sand Beige.  Dark Brown leather.   Hope to find a place to list all the info on my car and post more complete photos.   Looking forward to full membership!

Are those 3/4 inch whitewalls?  May I ask the source of the tires?

The tires are reproductions tires of the original Firestone Phoenix with correct German tread design and proper original dimensions.   They are made in Chattanooga, TN by Coker tire.

Unusual color. Computer monitors are not the best place to see a color.

There is a quite a difference in color (on my monitor) between the top pictures and the photo of the side of the car showing the wheel. This photo color seems a bit more like sand. Even in the wheel photo, the light and color seem to go from a Light Beige to a redder color.

The Technical Manual shows Sandy Beige to be very similar to Tunis Beige. Maybe Tunis is a little less Orange? My Tunis is below.

And we need some help. A few Tech Manual colors do not have a photo of a sample car. If you have paint in good condition that is one of these listed colors, please email me a clear photo of the exterior in good daylight so we can add it to the Manual:

140H Light Grey; 226H Moss Green; 335H Blue; 519G Light Red; 461G Bronze Brown; 567G Glazing Maroon.

Include comments if you believe the Tech Manual has an error in the color section.

My car is the same color as Smiledoc. It's sandy beige with a brown interior (MBtex) and brown top.
I don't have the whitewall tires but have been considering changing because the data card shows that the car had them.
My car is shown in the technical manual under the paint color codes - 467H sandy beige.

Another photo taken at dusk.    Photos via digital photography certainly vary from one manufacturer to the other (Fuji, Olympus, Nikon, Canon, etc. all see color differently).   Also, the best to view color is on a Mac Apple Cinema display that's been calibrated.
