Fog lights
« on: September 16, 2011, 09:33:14 »
I have the AC version of the US lights:

This is the one with the installed and operating Fog lights.

The fog lights work when the switch is pulled out, but they switch off when the dip/main lights are switched on. I know that in some countries they are wired to do this, but this is a US car so I guess would have been wired to stay on with the main lights.

Can anyone tell me how to wire the fog lights so they STAY ON with the main lights.

Study the US versus the European wiring diagrams in the Technical Manual...

I'm afraid that doesn't help me Peter. If I knew what to look for and what to do, I wouldn't have asked the question on the forum!

Sorry, if I had more time I would have figured it out for you, but I'm afraid I can't right now. If no one else chimes in I'll look at it again in a week or so when I have the time.
