Chris,
Very nice pictures from what seems an enjoyable enthusiast car show!
Please, tell something about the auto hobby there - is the market and demand for such cars expanding? Are there garages and mechanics with knowledge to be found?
Any Oldtimer driving events being staged, with these gems around on the Hong Kong roads? Substantial tax when importing such autos, I would imagine

Hi Hans,
I'm fairly new to the classic club out here but they seem to have lots of events - regular driving days, classic racing, china multi-day drives etc.
My experience of the mechanics is good - knowledgable & though.  Parts need to be imported from usual suppliers.
Import tax is 40% on first usd 20k, 75% on next 20k, 100% on next 25k & then 115% on rest.

Bottom of the page here: http://www.sl113.org/forums/index.php?action=mlist;sort=location;start=450 and next page...

Most active is Eryck, although sometimes he's out of the picture... I met up with him 3 yrs ago...
