Ah perfect! It seemed simple enough but I didn't want to short something out. Everything makes sense except for the performance test. They say the starting valve on the suction pipe must operate for one second. Do they mean that the solenoid should receive power for one second when the water temp is above 35C? The suction pipe part seems irrelevant.
For about 3-4 summer months here in Texas, I bet the CSV never even comes on when the engine is "cold".
