Does anyone know anything about the following car? www.beverlyhillscarclub.com   Stock no. 1560, Red 230SL.   It certainly is not pristine, but the price reflects that, and it is manual with AC, both of which I want. From the photos of the undercarriage it appears rust free? Any thoughts?   Thanks, Dale.

The panel gaps are poor, so it's probably been apart a few times. I didn't see any undercarriage photos, just the trunk, which looked ok.  Personally I'd prefer an original driver for that money, or spend a bit more on a better car. It would be worthwhile engaging LA specialist Tom Collitt for advice or an inspection. (323) 251-0987

Dave, Thanks for the comments, much appreciated. Reason I became interested was it isn't too often an early manual 230 with AC comes up. However , I agree it would be better to pay more, and  find a better car. Dale.

Hey, Montreal,
you're in Vancouver? I saw a car similar to the Beverley Hills #1560 over on Kijiji.ca the other day. In the Toronto area (of course!) but you might find it simpler to search within Canada. Or?

Be sure to share your experience with us. I'm new to this, and I really enjoy reading other success stories.
