Well, you should pay more attention to the experts than me, but here's what I did:
- I tightened both line ends by feel, same as I do almost all bolts. This may be sloppy of me, but after enough bolts you get a feel fro what's right. I only break out the torque wrench when precision is required like head bolts.
- I didn't remove my injectors, so I can't comment on them.
- To get a wrench around the pipe fittings on the injector end, I had to work from one end to the other. I think I disassembled back to front, and reassembled front to back. I don't think it matters - just which ever gives you the best access.
- I left the pipe fittings loose at the injectors and cranked the engine until there was fuel. There won't be a lot.
- I replaced the two gaskets where the pump mounts, one on each side of the Bakelite spacer.
- I also left the oil line and two fuel lines a bit loose until everything was in place, then tightened up.
I think that's about it.
