I also was advised that A/C didn't work very well in 113s, but this is Texas and it gets HOT. I added A/C two years ago and, after working through some issues (bad A/C compressor clutch, condensation dripping in the cabin, getting my auxilliary cooling fan installed and wired correctly, learning about and changing to Freeze 12 freon) it works fine and I am very glad I have it. June through September weather is the worst. Too much sun and heat during the middle of the day to have the top down if you are going to drive anywhere besides around the neighborhood.
