230 SL turn indicator

Is the 230 SL turn indicator unique to the 230 SL, or is it interchangeable with that from other models?

Yes, Dave is right.
The early indicator switch 001 545 5524 is unique to the 230SL and early 250SL (until serial #002979) and the late indicator switch 002 545 29 24 unique to the late 250 SL (from serial #002980) and 280SL.
No interchange with other MB passenger cars of that period.

Both are still available new but a bit pricey.
