Michael, you may have the best-looking, best-balanced, most original looking W 113 in America.  It would be interesting to see this Group conduct a periodic competition for the best Pagodas in a number of categories: Overall, Unrestored, Newly Restored, Euro Model, U.S Model, Unusual Feature, Unusual Color, Longest Ownership, Irving Thalberg, etc.  I have no idea how such a thing would be structured, but it fits into my wish drawer alongside a Gemütlichkeit-style performance competition every two years in Blacklick.

Bill-thanks.  It is, and has been, a work in progress--a little more each year as I learn, and find, the right pieces and parts.  Many would never know. This year, I've got the VIN data plate replaced; a small clamp in the engine bay, another clamp on the radiator, the proper window cranks--and so it goes...a little more all the time!

Looking very nice.

It was very noticeable at the last PUB that every one was incrementally improving their cars from the previous PUB and I suspect we will see that at the Euro Tour as well.

Those that have been around here for some time could probably name the 'best' in most of those categories with out even travelling around the world to look at them.

Hard to beat the original owners (49er) and some that use cotton buds to clean the underside (thelews) are two that come to mind.  Then there are restorations like Bob Posells that was documented in Pagoda World way back and on it goes.

All goals to aspire to.
