In Answer to a Question posed in "Concours dElegance - Kuwait Feb 2012" Topic
Basem,
Greetings from Wales.
My car is a May 1967 manufacture - RHD Automatic.
The Bosch Injector Pump is a PES6KL 70A120 R18Z and is correct for the data.
The data plate is on the outside near the front of the pump, you may of course have a different pump to me.
This model has own oil supply - separate from the engine.
I have only had the car two months, but I know the pump was overhauled 3 years ago in UK.
If you have the same pump, it should have a Red Filler Cap and also a well concealed dipstick, I removed the
washer bottle for a better picture of it here.
The oil in mine lovely and clean, but I have seen posts where they have been overfilled, and also become dirty.
I believe it holds 250 ml of normal Engine Oil, and it is "drained" by sucking it out of the dip stick hole.
I hope this may be of some help
Keep Well
Paul
