I found a Map from Mercedes Benz America of 1963/64 with a lot of Information of all models of that time, I scanned all the pages from the 230SL maybe it's interesting for someone here.

I can not figure out why they call 050 "white" and 717 "off white" when it is clearly the opposite.  Anyone looking at these two cars side by side would say the 717 was certainly whiter.  Perhaps 050 was offered earlier for other cars and they came along with 717 and since white was already taken they called it off white.  ???

I think You'r right Jordan, the number is also a lot higher so I suppose it's newer.

I just scanned both colors Jordan and 050 is alot lighter than 717, ofcourse there is alot discoloration because of the old samples and scanning but the difference is clearly.  The above color is 050 and below is 717.

No... I'm just wondering if you've seen those sections since they contain most of the info you are adding here. We've also spent a lot of time trying to get the colours as correct as possible.

If you have really additional stuff, it would be better to insert it in the Technical Manual (i.e. there) also.
