Snow flake decal

As many of you now it has become my passion to help restore the engineering tags that belong on our cars. I am told that the Blue Snow Flake decal is popular and would like to find a picture of an orginal one on someone's SL.

You can rest assured your donation will be rewarded with a fresh new decal. Please send your pictures to bobgeco@cs.com.

This is an original a/c sticker but, unfortunately, part of the bottom has been scraped off over the years.

What is the purpose / meaning of this sticker?  I've seen it on non-A/C cars.

I've always thought it was supposed to indicate that a/c was installed in the car. But like you, I've seen non-a/c cars with the sticker (including my own SL).

On one car I saw, the sticker was in the window, the car had no a/c, but it had a bracket for a compressor installed. Plus the original owner told me it never had a/c. It was as if the car was prepped for a/c, but it was never installed.

I don't know anything technical about that sticker. My guess however is that it shows that the car is protected from freezing with antifreeze down to -22f. My car has a sticker on the rear window of the hardtop showing the Kulmiester logo to designate AC. Again this is just a guess.

It's a sticker for anti freeze protection. Most areas would be safe down to - 22 degrees. The other decals on the rad and exspansion tank only refer to what cap to use.

Once more. the decal I am looking for information on is the Air Condition Blue snow flake decal put on the drivers side inside windshield. It seems that there is some other information missing on the reproduction one I saw just below the snow flake in small black lettering.
Does any one still have their orginal on their car that they can photograph for me?
Thank You
