I miss driving my Pagoda!
« on: January 06, 2013, 16:16:54 »
For those of us in the midst of winter, I am sure you share my sentiment. We have snow on the ground, salt residue on the roads and snow showers expected this afternoon. There is no way I would take my Pagoda out in the mess. My Pagoda looked a little forlorn this morning, all bundled up under its car cover...so much so, I had to take the cover off, break out the California Duster and then sit in the car and take in the the sight of the instrument panel and the aroma of leather. Man O Man, Spring can't come soon enough!!!   :'(

I share your sentiment, but hopefully this empty period will not last: the new season is coming!!!

Flyair, Unintended, it was the last section I read. I appears my mistake has been corrected.

Brad,
is that kind of hardship you reserved for your Pagoda this winter?  :)

In the winter here I grab a bag o' pop corn, sit in the passenger seat, tilt the seat back a bit, put in a DVD and watch a movie; kind of like sitting in an old drive in movie  :)

No I'm just kidding, no food is allowed in Anthracite.

that's what we all do these days…. once upon a time, when we were just a bit younger…. you would just grab a pretty girl, today we are left with popcorn or alike :) :) :) :).

Flyair,
There are two MB cars in the garage.  I put my daily driver in the empty spot.  I need Bob to set me up with his luxury man cave...

Last Saturday was sunny and 65 degrees farenheit in Cincinnati. Snow gone. Salt residue gone. Roads dry. Took the Old Boy out for a 2 1/2 hour run. Fired right up on the first crank. Engine purred. I think he enjoyed being out as much as I did. Glorious!!!

65 in Ohio, 18 (again) here this morning in California. The world is turned upside down. Sounds like you and your Pagoda had a great day together :) Topdown?

49er,

Started with the top up but finished with it down. A little nip in the air requiring a hat and the windows rolled up. Still great. At least you are close to Lake Tahoe. I imagine taking your Pagoda for a spin around the Lake in warmer weather is magnificent. Not sure who has the better situation. I think you!

Excuse my ignorance but, what vertical bumper guards are those? I haven't noticed that type before.
