Interesting that while the axle ratio did not change on the 230SL, the gear ratios changed in '65 for the first 3 gears.

Compare the contents of that official MB wiki with that of ours....

When MB started that Wiki on the Classic site they approached our group to ask us how we got so much content in ours... I told them: hard work.

No; I had not seen it.  Very interesting.  Thank you.  The content is fascinating where present, and in the many places where it is not yet present is tantalizing.  I hope the potential will be more fully realized and expect to relish what has been made available so far.  Again, thanks for sharing this new information source with us.

I note that it states that the EPC works with Windows 95, 98, and now even with XP!  Well, it seems it will be an even longer time before I'm able to access the EPC service.  I can't understand why DB still does not, even yet, recognize the Apple/Mac world.  But if they're still working with Windows systems from the previous century I suppose I should give up hoping.  It's a good thing I have some of the old books .... imagine: books.
