clutch master cylinder slipping
« on: February 16, 2013, 01:01:46 »
Need some help.  The clutch master cylinder, the slave cylinder plus the flexible hose are all new.  The problem comes when I depress the clutch pedal the clutch master cylinder slips downward out of the sleeve.  The clutch pedal then goes to the floor.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks  Jim

  Wow! That's a new one.........

I think there's supposed to be a circlip that holds the cylinder from slipping down. Maybe it's missing.
