Gooding & Co. Auction Result

Goodings sold various vintage MBs at Amelia Island on Friday a big prices.  The 1971 280SL sold at $121,000 including the 10% buyer's premium.  Looked like a very nice car with 67,000 purportedly original miles.  The estimate range was $110-135,000.

Classic Center sell 113 SLs above that

They list prices on plaque stand next to car & I have seen shown room turnover monthly or less

I think that this was for sale at Hyman in St Louis a while back. It looked amazing in the pictures..
