Questions regarding the A/C- alternator bracket
« on: March 18, 2013, 01:24:50 »
While I have the bracket off, I was wondering if it was originally painted and if so, was it black. Mine has some black paint on it. Also, should I grease the tensioner pulley? And finally, do I need to use an anti-seize lubricant or a sealant on the bolts when I put the bracket back onto the block?
Thanks Guys......

Use sealant on any bolt going into the engine block.  Yes the bracket was black. The idler bearing is sealed and difficult to grease.
