Recent Brake Work

Just replaced four hoses, rear disks and pads.  Rear brakes seem to be dragging now, not disengaging.  Please shed some light on this.  Thanks!!

It's possible your hand brakes may be stuck in locked position.

No.   
The hand brake is not the problem.  Today after going for a drive I noticed that it was dragging as I pulled into my driveway. After the car sat for a few hours the problem was gone.  It did return when I took it out a second time.  The pedal seems to get harder to press with each use.

You might try manually (with a lever) pushing the pistons back in the brake cylinders, then pressing the brake, the pushing back in, a couple of times. When my pads dragged it was the pistons not moving freely in the calipers. Did you use any copper or similar grease on the rear of the pads, where they contact the pistons?

Check ur braided vacuum hose to booster

With all work your hose may be constricted or leaking; most hoses are very old

perhaps where they fitted the new pads in the calipers they didnt scrape out the old rust in the caliper slides and the pads are sticking. When they are stuck on, ie when hot, release the bleed screw - if the brakes release it is an hydraulic problem before the calipers, if still seized - either sticking pistons or pads (or the handbrake shoes which you say are ok)

Latest update

The shop is going to replace the rear brake calipers (both) for the cost of the calipers ~$300 each with no labor charge.  Hopefully all will go well from there.

Took the car back to the shop today.  It turns out that I am also in need of a new brake master cylinder and clutch slave.
