not sure about "buying" Alf but there were lots of official looking snappers!, the photos through the wooden Pagoda windscreen at Siggi's Hut may be a treat to look forward to.

Three of our cars at the front of Mercedes summer cafe in Warsaw - just after arrival to Warsaw from Willingen.

Please see Web page of the German Club Pagode.
http://slpagode.mercedes-benz-clubs.com/

To the top right there is a roll-down menu "Jahrestreffen".  Select "Bilder Willingen 2013" (or indeed, one of the earlier years)
You will find some pictures there already (Click on "Klick"), but the bulk will be seen in a few weeks

Brian

Was good to meet you too, Brian.
The car is finally on the road after 4 long winters of welding (and sitting in a storage for 17 years before that). Yes, I certainly will enjoy the rest of the season !
I must admit that in a month or so it is going to call for some special attitude to enjoy topless driving in Finland   8)

not exactly related to our event, but as this place was visited by nearly all the participants, things may be of concern to many.

The only question is whether the stuff got there before us or (hopefully) after. Or…. was it a contribution by one of participants? :'( :'( :'(

I used to own a business building devices to eradicate Legionella. German authorities did not allow us to sell this equipment in Germany.

Unless you had a shower at the brewery, you are not likely to be at risk for legionella. I only drank beer there, but even drinking the water with legionella bacteria in it, won't make you sick. You'd need to breathe it...

The fellow on the right holding up the umbrella might be from this forum here :) looks very familiar .... great shot anyway.

As far as I can tell this is not from this year's event… we had no rain, and no need for umbrella's you see. I recognize a few people on the photo, Achim might recognize even more, but I see no-one from this forum.

The attached is the Group Photograph at Willingen of all the sl113.org members we could round up…. apart from a few US regulars they are mostly European...

Hello,
Yes, Peter is correct here. :)
It's the farewell picture of the 2010's Pagoden-SL-Club Event in Bamberg (Franconia, Germany). It was rainy there, yes.
Personally I know quite some people on that pic; and most of them were at the P-50 in Willingen as well.

Achim,

I would appreciate that you could tell us more about that moss green vehicle driving on the left.
Is that a pagoda restored and heavily modified to become a rural version?

All I can se is a convertible one with soft top folded. Tires are somewhat not original I suppose.

Stan, I think it is a pre-war Pagoda (классический авто большой) perhaps of Russian origin ....

Dear Stan,

This is a Schlüter tractor ... ;)
... about the same age as our Pagodas. At least a 60ies child.
Those were known to be top class tractors in Deutschland at their time.

https://www.google.de/search?q=Schl%C3%BCter+Traktoren&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=dATfUsT_GsfnywPA4YIY&ved=0CEQQsAQ&biw=1206&bih=649&dpr=0.9

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anton_Schl%C3%BCter_M%C3%BCnchen

Don't know what model that particular green one on the pics is. Maybe an S350 or S450 or so (35 or 45 BHP). Need to see that (mostly) chromed label on the side of the engine hood first. ;) Then I know. ;) ;D
What is striking on this  particular Schlueter is that it is painted green instead of their much more common red (I think it was DB 568H signalrot I think ... ;) ;D ) and this was very rare.

Old tractors of the 50ies or 60ies or around are in heavy demand nowadays. Especially folks coming from farms often look, seek and restore those old tractors in order to have an old-time toy tool side by side with their modern (& much more powerful) tractor(s).
A very common sight on car shows as well nowadys. But in the States too I think.
 ;)

Younger Schlüters (70-90ies; Schlüter sadly, sadly, sadly shut down in 1993) are also very be sought after but then more as agricultural workhorses - since they are so heavy and reliable. Excellent built quality to say so... :)

Just a souvenir that reminds of the great Willingen celebration. Here, in a cartoon style, I am with my daughter Livia. Pagoda is also there... obviously :)

Peter,
Fortunately the Willingen event was about our cars's anniversary and not ours. Otherwise we would have a geriatric parade as the main attraction;D
