George

spare room for Dr. and spare garage for Dr.'s Pagoda….. ;D

In that case, we'll both sleep well.

I received my ZF reverse light switch from Naj ( thanks ) so now I have something to work on. I guess I better get going because I have a lot to do.

I'm in the process of hiring more help as I can't keep up with all of the work I have right now. Hope this works out..... :-\

Here is an idea Dan, plan a trip out west along the Mother Route 66. Perhaps Pagoda owners anywhere within 100 mile radius can plan to meet up along the way (to join for a spell along the way). Once my engine is ship shape and trustworthy I even come along all the way.

Perhaps we should start a thread asking American Pagoda owners "How far away from Route 66 do you live?"

I've done the trip in 2010 up to Flagstaff (then I headed north) in my then modern Z4 35i it was great fun.

Last year I got the DVD set and now I have the urge to visit some of the places I've missed.

Who knows you could organize a day type seminar in certain places along Route 66 (people could join from north and south or within that 100 mile radius) for a minimal fee to pick your brains :) it would pay for your lodging and gas alon the way of a great trip from Chicago to LA :) ... just a thought :)

This id the DVD set on Route 66, great stories from places along the old mother road.

The set included this map showing some of the interesting places to visit along the way

EDIT; the last pic (map) was incorrect.

you must stop by Albany between Albany and Saratoga on your venture a great B&B waterfront and great relaxation

And from Albany you're only 90 miles from us...especially if you are headed towards Boston you'll practically drive right by. Seven pagoda owners in our "neighborhood"!

I did some of Route 66 back in 2001 and enjoyed it very much. I will need to do some much needed repairs on my car before I take this trip. Some engine work, interior, and some rust repair.
Car is driving well right now but I need to address the seats, leaking head gasket, and left frame rail replacement. Looks like next year unless I can find the time to do it this summer.
