Here is an idea Dan, plan a trip out west along the Mother Route 66. Perhaps Pagoda owners anywhere within 100 mile radius can plan to meet up along the way (to join for a spell along the way). Once my engine is ship shape and trustworthy I even come along all the way.
Perhaps we should start a thread asking American Pagoda owners "How far away from Route 66 do you live?"
I've done the trip in 2010 up to Flagstaff (then I headed north) in my then modern Z4 35i it was great fun.
Last year I got the DVD set and now I have the urge to visit some of the places I've missed.
Who knows you could organize a day type seminar in certain places along Route 66 (people could join from north and south or within that 100 mile radius) for a minimal fee to pick your brains
it would pay for your lodging and gas alon the way of a great trip from Chicago to LA
... just a thought
