Yesterday was a milestone of sorts for my 280SL project. For the first time since its delivery on December 15, 2009, it left the garage and driveway under its own power. The trip was not very long, only up the hill and around the corner to a better spot for pickup by the Intercity Lines monster truck. It's currently in transit to SL-Tech for finishing and sorting out.
Now that I have part of my life back, I hope to be able to write about some of the more interesting aspects of this project.
