GAHH Squareweave Trunk mat

Anyone order the GAHH squareweave carpet trunk mat?

Thinking of ordering it in black so it matches black surrounds of trunk / spare; my carpeting is Tan and it might be a bit bright in trunk

Might also think about a coco mat for the trunk. I think several here have one as do I for my W111. Super heavy duty. They even made a special piece for the lower left well in the W111 trunk.

Hi there, I have been told the trunks were fitted with two rubber mats originally?

I would not put a square weave trunk mat in my car. The first time it gets wet ( and it will ) you will soon regret this idea. This is a natural fibre carpet and it won't take well to moisture.

I hear u on the wet issue.....

Are 113 trunks prone to leaks?

I had the top well rubber gasket, the well rubber plugs, the rear light rubber gaskets, and trunk lid rubber gasket replaced by experts and there was still a little trickle stain of dried water !

I'm told its been water proof tested now...

*Noticed these are in stock for drain tubes

I can't tell you why the trunk seems to get wet but many do. Often times you will find quite a bit of moisture under the rubber mat. If you do this, make sure it's staying realy dry in there before you do. Black carpet won't show stains as much as most any other colour but square weave really doesn't stand up to to the elements or a lot of abuse.
