Summer's Here
« on: June 30, 2013, 21:06:00 »
at last!, had a few local miles today accompanied by my 14yr old daughter who has recently shown interest in photography. She took these photos in a lovely village a few miles from home on a lovely day, good first attempt I think?, she likes the car but can't understand why so many people wave... on the other hand, my eldest daughter, 16yrs, won't be seen dead in the car!, her sights seem much higher (no idea of value just bling!) as can be seen in the photo of her taken last week just before I took her to her Prom party (American idea!), I suppose it would be very boring if we were all the same!

Hello Neil,
Watched the British Formula 1 from Silverstone this morning and the weather looked outstanding there as well (good race too for us MB folk:-). The setting and the pictures your daughter took are terrific and looked very professional. Your SL is really beautiful too! My son had his eye on an R8 as well, but when he got married last year he decided his Focus will do just fine for a while ;) As to the weather where I live, today the temp was over 100f (38c) for the 2nd day in a row and it is only going to get hotter as the week goes on with no let up until Friday when we go down to 90f :'( No A/C in our SL so it is sitting in our garage with it's tongue out waiting for some cool breezes. Tell your daughter to keep the pictures coming for all of us to enjoy.

There's no mention of the D4 in your signature block! Fine cars.

I am devastated by your accountatnt's approach to life. Anyway, you are not in accordance with IAS as, if any, that would be cost centre #3, the undisputable cost centre #1 at everybody's estate being the beloved Pagoda car :)

Mark, she's great but doesn't like old things (except her dad)
